At the 2009 annual meeting Cathy Wurzer spoke about her book,
Tales of the Road: Highway 61.
Artists Among Us
An art show featuring the work of local artists, opened the summer at the Cross River Heritage Center.
In July, an Artist's Day was featured. Many enjoyed interacting with and watching the artists work.

2007 the Schroeder Area Historical Society hosted a reunion for
people who lived and worked at
Reunion guests had the opportunity to visit with old friends, listen
to the memoirs of the days at




"Traditions"
Quilt Raffle
The Schroeder Area Historical Society holds an annual raffle for a
quilt. This year the quilt is a king size Hawaiian quilt created by Ipo Camara of Hawaii.
The 2011 quilt is called "Hawaiian Fantasy". The drawing for the quilt
will be held on November 19 at 2pm at CRHC's Holiday Bazaar.
Arrangements
may be made for adult or school group tours and activities.
We will feature local authors and other special programs throughout
the season. Watch for updates of events.
